MEOW!!!!! just checked the mail and WHOA! My article “Tricks are for Kitty” cover story from this issue of Catster Magazine is a Certificate of Excellence WINNER in the 2020 Cat Writers Association annual awards!!!! This was completely unexpected (I had forgotten my editor nominated the article- it never occurred to me I would win anything) AHHHH!!!!!!!!!! My understanding is that winning a certificate of excellence now means that this article is a finalist for a medallion award to be announced in October! paws crossed!
