2020 – the year that just keeps misbehaving. I just had a sad and challenging zoom meeting with Chew This Journal’s publisher this morning. As we all know the pandemic has led to delays……everywhere and with everything. The publisher has assured me they have been doing everything in their power to beg/push the book through on schedule but there are significant delays with printing and binding at presses across the country. The printer is working as fast as they can to get this book out but today we I learned that Chew This Journal’s release must be pushed back to December 15th.
I am so sad about this. I want you to have the book in hand next week. Full transparency I don’t have a copy yet- I want to have the book in hand next week too! But the good news it soon soon soon it will be here. The Kindle version WILL still release 12/1 and the updated 12/15 release date for print will get the book to you before Christmas for those of you who ordered it as a xmas gift <3
I wish that i had better news, I have been an absolute wreck about this for the last 72 hours since I learned this was even a slight possibility. I was holding out hope things would be ok. Never in 10+ years of writing/publishing books have I experienced this. When it was confirmed today that the release had to move I knew I needed to let you know right away. xoxo
